Obligatory Misoneism Re: v6

That's "a hatred or fear of change or innovation", for those of you who don't subscribe to the "A.Word.A.Day" emails. No, I do not care for the new DevArt. I do not care for the defaults-to-latest-deviations front page, I do not care for the shiny, feature-full, doesn't-let-me-view-my-messages-and-my-deviations-separately Message Center, and I do not care for the little bar with my name and the "Subscribed" (yes, I paid for this) message and the "No Messages" and everything being all the way at the top where it looks like part of the Firefox window. As for the light-colored box with dark-colored stuff all the way around it that they chose for the layout - it's flat-out ugly, thank you very much.

In fact, of all the changes with respect to the browsing experience, I can name precisely two that I consider even marginally an improvement: they let the Channels page show more items in each row depending on the width of your window, and they let you choose what area to search in the search-box. The rest of it, I'd throw out.
